What’s the Collective Noun for a Group of Designers Called Matt?
After eight years we said goodbye to our designer, Matt Hollands, this week.Matt, who joined the company as fresh-faced 23 year old on a freelance basis in 2008, is moving on to pastures new. We’re very proud of how Matt developed his skills and talents during that time and are going to miss him very much.Although he was a man of few words, we’re also going to miss Matt’s sharp observation and killer one-liners that always had the team in stitches.Despite feeling sad, we’re also excited that Matt feels ready for a new challenge and wish him all the best for the future. So what does this mean for our clients?Well, there are two exciting developments and we still have a Matt!Firstly, Matt Stone, who has worked on a number of projects with us over the last year or so, has come back on a freelance basis. What’s good about this is that Matt knows our clients, the way we work and our systems, so it’s been a seamless transition to welcome Matt back into the team.Secondly, we’ve set up a partnership with St Austell-based design studio, Leap. This has been in the making over the last few months and Mark and Leap’s Matt Hocking (another one) have spoken a lot during that time. Both companies have a shared ethos and work in a way that compliments each other’s style. And we’re already working on some exciting projects together.Design will still be part of our offering and we’re looking forward to developing this flexible solution with our existing and new clients.
