With interest and demand in the products growing rapidly, St Kitts approached MPAD to rebrand the company to reflect its quality and to help them target a wider audience.
The identity needed to be versatile to represent the many products and fit onto the various size bottles and packages. MPAD went through an extensive research and development period producing three different ideas for St Kitts to choose from.
The design chosen was very simple and elegant, incorporating a silver logo on the main flagship products.
The project incorporated 40 different labels for the four main product ranges Rosemary and Bergamot, Patchouli, Lavender, and Geranium. We also created in-house templates to allow St Kitts the brand on their many other products sold in the shop.
The labels were in keeping with the brand, simple but stylish; we used colours that represented the smells, which enhanced the quality of the product. In order to distinguish the main ranges, design icons were introduced, giving each item an individual identity.
Part of this exercise included rolling out the brand through production of their product guide, produce leaflets, signage, stationery, and an e-commerce website.
St Kitts Herbery is a prime example of how excellent design can help a business’s bottom line. The new brand was launched in January 2009 and during the first six months of the year sales had increased by 57.5% (on the same period in 2008), whilst the redesigned ecommerce website has seen an increase in sales of 400%.
We continue to enjoy a working relationship with St Kitts, producing a new logo for a further flagship product and creating advertisements.
