Henry takes to the skies for Clean Cornwall

Clean Cornwall, Client PR / No Comments

As part of Clean Cornwall week Henry Orchard has partnered with The Classic Airforce to take to the skies on the lookout for the worst litter spots in Cornwall.

Henry, marketing manager for Clean Cornwall, said; “It’s brilliant that the trust have chosen to get behind Clean Cornwall week.

“It all came from a chance conversation I had with David Paton, CEO for The Classic Airforce about Clean Cornwall and he offered up one of their post war aircraft to litter spot.”

Clean Cornwall week takes place between 16th and 24th March and will see armies of volunteers working to clear rubbish and litter from their neighbourhoods and surrounding areas.

David from Classic Airforce said; “Since relocating the collection to Cornwall I have been so impressed by just how proud Cornish people are about their county.

“It’s really inspiring and this sense of pride is something that we as an organisation have adopted.

“We are only too glad to be able to help in this way.”

‘It’s not too late to get involved with Clean Cornwall Week.” Adds Henry

“There is a website,, where you can log on to find out more.

“If you want to organise a group we will provide you with everything you need, and will also arrange to pick up the litter you collect afterwards.”

The Classic Aircraft Trust is due to open its doors on Friday March 29 and will be offering visitors the chance to see Cornwall from the skies in one of it’s vintage post war aircraft.

Clean Cornwall has co-ordinated more than 800 community ‘clean up’ events across Cornwall.
